This past month at Mission Station, our kids packed their (imaginary) bags, grabbed their Mission Station passports, and took a very exciting trip to Northern Africa to visit our one of mobilization partner families!
No long flights. No jet lag. Just big faith and even bigger imaginations.
The adventure began with students learning about the Familyās life since moving last year. We talked about what daily life looks like in Northern Africaānew language, new culture, new foods, new rhythms. The kids were especially fascinated by how different everyday routines can be in another part of the world. It helped them see that following Jesus sometimes means stepping far outside your comfort zone.
But the biggest lesson? Prayer matters.
We talked about how prayer isnāt just something we do before meals or at bedtimeāitās how we partner with missionaries around the world. Even though our students canāt physically be in Northern Africa, they can absolutely be part of what God is doing there through prayer.
To put that into action, our Mission Station travelers went on a prayer walk. As they walked, they:
P: Praised God for the Family
R: Repented for the Family's sins
A: Asked for things they needed prayer for
Y: Yielded to Christ on behalf of the Family

There was something powerful about hearing kids pray big prayers for people on the other side of the world. It was a beautiful reminder that youāre never too young to make an eternal impact.
By the end of our ātrip,ā the kids came home (to Rainbow) with a bigger understanding of missions and a deeper appreciation for the sacrifices families make to follow Godās call.
No souvenirs. No passport stamps. But hearts stretched a little wider for the world.
And thatās the best kind of trip. šš
