Entrusting Yourself to God

In Entrusting Yourself to God from 1 Peter 2:18–25, we are reminded that Christ’s suffering is both our example and our hope. Peter calls believers to endure unjust suffering with faithful submission, not because injustice is good, but because God sees, judges rightly, and uses our response as a witness to others. Rather than returning insults or demanding our own way, we are called to entrust ourselves to God, following Jesus, who bore our sins and responded to suffering with perfect trust in the Father. As we continually surrender ourselves to God's care, our joyful obedience points others to the saving work of Christ.

Worshiping Through Tears

Worshiping Through Tears (Psalm 89:46–52) reminds us that God meets us in the midst of suffering. The psalmist teaches us to bring our deepest questions to the Lord in prayer, cling to His unchanging character when our circumstances are painful, and continue worshiping even through tears. Suffering is not wasted—it conforms us to Christ, prepares us for eternal glory, loosens our grip on this world, and draws us closer to God. Because Jesus has conquered death through His resurrection, believers can worship with hope, trusting that God is at work even in life's hardest seasons.

The Promises of Righteousness

Proverbs 10–12 shows the wisdom of living a life that honors God. Through practical contrasts between the righteous and the wicked, Solomon reveals that our words, work, relationships, and choices reflect the condition of our hearts. This message challenges believers to pursue integrity, speak with wisdom, embrace diligence, and trust God's ways, reminding us that true blessing and lasting joy are found in walking according to His wisdom rather than the world's.
