Day 5- Tuesday, June 10th- Embrace in serving. Pastor Elder
Our teams morning devotional - Matthew 19:13-15
Today, our team had lots of energy and zeal to share the gospel with individuals during home visits, to the elderly, and approx. 300 school children, ages 4-17.
Home Visits:
The team had joy in serving the community through food distributions and visiting believers and non-believers in their homes. Our team shared that Jesus is alive, he brings light to their darkness, he gives hope, and restores broken hearts.
VBS:
Two of our drivers, Pablo and Hugo have been with the team all week; they are non-believers and they do not speak English. Today, the drivers decided on their own to engage in children’s ministry by playing games, helping with crafts, encouraging the kids to listen, and they stayed for closing remarks. Praise the Lord, these two drivers, heard the gospel multiple times, they heard the Bible being read, they heard worship songs, they heard us praying to Jesus, and they heard the Good News.
The seeds planted today in Guatemala from God’s Word will be watered and can bring salvation.
When we returned to the hotel, Pastor Jonathan lead the team in worship songs and the team shared their Kodak moment today during ministry.
Please pray:
Thank the Lord all our team members were able to go out to ministry today!
Pray for our pastoral staff as they will be teaching and training at Pastor Benidicto’s
Church.
Pray for our home visits in a new community and our food distribution. Pray our team will extend love and see people of all ages be united in Christ.
Pray for our two drivers to be saved- Pablo and Hugo.
