Day 3- Sunday, June 8th- Church-Pastor Elder
To God be the glory. Today, Rainbow Forest Baptist Church gathered together with a Guatemalan Church in one accord by reading the Word, Genesis 10 & 11, and responding to the Word in worship. The singing and fellowship was a combined, cultural outward expression of the inward honor, reverence and adoration for our Lord and Savior.
Our team spent time together preparing for tomorrow’s ministry.
1- Preparing food bags, (sugar, salt, rice, pasta, beans, oil) for our upcoming home visits and food distribution.
2- Prepared gift bags for the elderly and for home visits (different candies and gospel tracks).
3- Organized materials for Children’s Ministry; we are expecting 125 children, ages 4-10!
4- Yes, we made PB&J sandwich for the ministry day! If you have ever been on a RFBC missions trip, you know this is a highlight of the trip.😊
5- A few multi-generational team members found time to bond over a chess match!
Thanks church family for praying; please continue to pray:
Praise the Lord, by giving thanks that Pastor Jonathan’s guitar was delivered and he led worship in song during our team meeting.
Pray each team member will show love and hospitality during home visits.
Pray that the families that receive the food bags and the elderly receiving the gift bags will be fed physically and spiritually.
Pray for our Children’s Ministry team as they share God’s Word- Luke 5: 17-24, sing songs, make crafts, and show God’s love.
