Guatemala Team Update #2

Day 2- Saturday, June 20th- Cultural Tour Day- Lake Atitlán

After a good night’s rest, we woke up bright and early at 6:00 AM and headed out for a wonderful day at Lake Atitlán. God blessed us with beautiful weather as we spent the day hiking through the mountains, taking in the incredible scenery, and enjoying his creation all around us.

In the afternoon we traveled by boat across Lake Atitlán to the town of Panajachel (Pana). We walked through the local market experiencing the culture, meeting people, and seeing handmade crafts and colorful goods that make Guatemala so unique!

The day was filled with butterflies, bridges, boats, and opportunities to appreciate the beauty of God’s creation and the people he has placed here. We are thankful for all the safe travels, new experiences, and the chance to serve alongside one another.

Praying for another great day tomorrow as we continue serving and growing together in faith.
