Guatemala Team Update #1

Day 1 – Friday, June 6th – Travel Day

The Guatemala Team traveled across the sea and land to be on mission that the Lord called and sent.

This team traveled from Roanoke to Guatemala City in a manner of unity with lots of chatter and laughter.

Praise the Lord, all luggage except Pastor Jonathan’s guitar made it. Praying and expecting to receive guitar midday on Saturday.

Guatemala City has approximately 1.2 million people, and it felt as if everyone was out on a heavy rainy day traveling in buses, cars, and motorcycles.

Due to the rain, our tour of the city called Cayala was cancelled, however, this allowed the team 2 hours of welcomed rest.

After dinner, the team settled in at the Baptist Seminary House for the night.
