Pray for Me

What is it?
Pray for me is an ongoing program that runs from the first week in September through the end of May. Committed adults are asked to pray for their prayer partner every day for the entirety of the school year.
How does it work?
During the campaign we will separate our adult prayer champions into generational groups. During the campaign students will approach ONE adult in each generational group and ask a simple questions, “Will you pray for me?” This is the question that launches a relationship for the school year and the adults chosen by each team represent their prayer group. We’ll have a short time of prayer during the campaign kickoff and starting on September 5th prayer champions will begin lifting up their student in prayer using the pray for me guide.
Am I spiritual enough for this?
In the past we have had adults hesitant to participate because of the commitment of prayer, but even though prayer is the biggest and most meaningful emphasis of this program there are other benefits such as the relational connection you can form with a student. Plus, even one extra prayer during the week can be used by God for great things. PLEASE DON’T WAIT FOR YOUR PRAYER LIFE TO BE PERFECT! We would love for any and all to be part of this program.
