Easter Family Time
Bring the family together this Easter!
Parents I want to share a resource with you that I just discovered and I believe will be a big blessing to your family. It's called Homefront Magazine. I know, I know, magazines are a thing of the past but, believe me when I tell you, this magazine is full of resources, ideas, and family-together activities that I believe will strengthen you.
Throughout the year we're going to use this magazine as a guide to host family gatherings where families can come together for a shared experience. I'd love to share all the details with you at our very first family gathering happening Sunday morning March 25th from 9:30am - 10:30am (during the Sunday School Hour) in the Family Life Center.
We'll have a short time of refreshments followed by a brief look at the many ways you can be encouraged by Homefront Magazine. We'll then provide you with all the necessary supplies you need to complete 2-4 of the suggested activities in the March edition. These activities will be a mixture of DIY crafts, games, recipes, and family creations.
Who is this event for? It's for ALL families!! There are activities that will be suitable for kids of all ages and the majority of content available in the magazine will be relevant for relationship building in the home.
Can I come even if I don't have kids or if my kids are grown? A big part of this event will be hands on activities families can complete together but you are more than welcome to join along with other families if you are not at the kid phase or if you are an empty-nester. I believe there is lots of value in grandparents attending, especially if you spend significant time with your grand kids. If you have (or will have) any connection with kids in your immediate or extended family I believe there is value in being part of this event!
