DISASTER RELIEF
The SBC of Virginia offers training to equip members of SBC of Virginia churches, so they are able to respond during times of disaster. Each training offers necessary instruction for volunteers to respond with other Southern Baptists around the world. The training is practical and allows one, 18 years and older, to serve with confidence. Because of the SBCV's partnerships with FEMA, Salvation Army, Red Cross, IMB, NAMB and other SBC State Conventions, they have a credentialing process that helps church members to respond.

Participants must be 18 years or older at the time of registration.
Age Restrictions
Although we'd love for you join us in person on Nov. 16th, we understand it may not work for everyone's schedule. You can complete training online; find more information here.
Do I Have to Attend In Person?
Yes, there is a fee to complete the training. The fee for full disaster relief training is $35 per person or $20 per person for re-credentialing. You can register here.

Is There a Fee to Participate in the Training?
Yes, please do! This opportunity is open to everyone in the area (18+). Inviting friends and family to attend with you is a great opportunity to encourage them to later attend as opportunities and needs arise for disaster relief teams. We hope to send teams from our church following the training and we would love for them to attend with us.
