Christ is our sacrifice for sins and the high priest who willingly
gives His life and takes it back up again. This passage of Scripture
pours forth with the words “we,” “us,” and “our.” We draw closer to God in assurance together. We hold fast to the gospel better when we do it together. The call to become a disciple of Christ is one that is done with other believers. The path can become difficult, and we need to stir up one another to carry out acts of love and goodness.
Have you ever considered how you are motivating others to better
love and bless? God lives in constant community (Father, Son, and
Holy Spirit), therefore, we follow Him well when we meet together
both in worship services and life groups. How often? Verse 25 says, “all the more as you see the Day drawing near.” We should have a growing desire to meet with other believers.
