The beautiful part about this passage of Scripture rests in the
ongoing impact of ministry to the 4th generation. Paul received
the Word and began to invest it into the life of Timothy. Timothy
is charged by many to entrust the Gospel to faithful men; but not
just faithful men, faithful men who will also teach others.

Gospel → Paul → Timothy → Faithful Men → Others

Every believer must ask two important questions that emerge
from this passage: Am I constantly relying on the grace of God?
Who am I investing God’s Word into? Am I asking them to invest
it in others? Paul has a multiplying impact in the lives of those
that Timothy would invest in, which lives on years after Paul
passes away.

Other verses: Matthew 28:16-20; Acts 1:8; John 15:16
