REGISTRATION BEGINS
MONDAY SEPTEMBER 20th. 
 
Upward Basketball and Cheerleading provides a fun environment built around healthy competetion for kids, teaching skills for the sports arena and values for life.
Competitive Sports Environment
  • Upward Basketball offers competetive games through balanced talent on each team. Upward Cheerleading gives children the opportunity to learn a sport and be part of the action.
  • Upward Basketball's unique substitution system is designed to provide every child equal playing time, along with competing against an equally matched opponent.
  • Upward Cheerleading's spirit squad format is designed to provide an exciting team based experience.
  • Upward Basketball and Cheerleading provide every participant with quality game uniforms to look like a "pro", as well as other gear to help build team spirit.
Skills Development
  • Upward Basketball equips children with the athletic skills needed to participate at the next level.

Ages K5 – 6th grade.  (Must be 5 by 12/6/10)

Registration Period
September 20th – November 13th
Cost will be $65 per child

Open Evaluations and Orientations
Location:  Rainbow Forest Baptist Church, Family Life Center
Saturday, November 6th and 13th, 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
Times are open to “all” eligible participants
Every participant (new and returning) must attend an evaluation/orientation
NO registrations will be accepted after November 13th, NO exceptions.

Coaches (Basketball and Cheerleading) Training
Location: Rainbow Forest Baptist Church, Room ADC-202
Saturday, November 20th, 8:30 – 10:00 a.m.
Tuesday, November 23rd, 6:30 – 8:00 p.m. (make-up session)

Referee Training
Location: Rainbow Forest Baptist Church, Room ADC-202
Saturday, January 8th, 8:30 – 10:00 a.m.
Tuesday, January 11th, 6:30 – 8:00 p.m. (make-up session)

Practice- Begins Week of 12/6
Location: Rainbow Forest Baptist Church, Family Life Center
Practices will be one day each week, for 1 hour - Mon, Tues, Thur, or Fri.
No practices the weeks of 12/20 and 12/27 due to holidays
Practices will resume the week of 1/3

Games (Saturdays)
Location: Rainbow Forest Baptist Church, Family Life Center
Games Begin – Saturday, January 15th
Games End – Saturday, March 5th 

Picture Day
Location: Rainbow Forest Baptist Church, ADC-202
Saturday, January 29th (before game)

Upward Award Celebration
Location: Rainbow Forest Baptist Church, Family Life Center
