At Rainbow Forest, we're . . . . "Making Him Their Hero"

Thank you for choosing to visit our website. We want to welcome you to the Children's Ministry of Rainbow Forest, a.k.a., HEROES. We are excited to have the opportunity to partner with you in leading your child on the most important journey of their life. Our vision is simply to; "Win kids to Christ and grow them spiritually.

According to one source, 85% of all people who have accepted Jesus Christ as personal Lord and Savior, have done so by the age of fourteen. That's why the focus of our ministry is leading each child to know, grow and live like Jesus, by "Making Him Their Hero".

Hebrews 12:2 says; "We all do this by keeping our eyes on Jesus, on whom our faith depends from start to finish." What better way to lead the children here at Rainbow Forest than to point them to Jesus Christ in every aspect of their life by "Making Him Their Hero".

Our Mission Statement, taken from "The Great Commandment" and "The Great Commission", clearly defines the five purposes of our children's ministry.

The Great Commandment:
Teacher, which command in the law is the most important? Jesus answered, 'Love the Lord your God with all your heart, soul and mind'. This is the first and most important command. And the second command is like the first; 'Love your neighbor as you love yourself'. All the law and the writings of the prophets depend on these two commands. Matthew 22:36-40 (ICB)

The Great Commission:
So go and make followers of all people in the world. Baptize them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. Teach them to obey everything that I have told you. You can be sure that I will be with you always. I will continue with you until the end of the world. Matthew 28:19-20 (ICB).
