BIBLE STUDIES

Bible Study (or Sunday School as it is sometimes called) is a very integral part of our ministry at Rainbow Forest Baptist Church. There are classes on Sunday morning for all ages. A comprehensive list of all adult classes. This will aid you with information on class times, locations and teachers. A copy of the facility layout indicating where the classrooms are located can be found at the Information Desk in the foyer. Be sure to pick one up and become a part of a Sunday Morning Bible Study.

Abiding Faith (Singles 30 & up)	Van Vandergriff	ADC 105
Designed for singles 30 and older, this class focuses upon studying God's word and applying it to the group's particular needs and circumstances. We have about 30 minutes of fellowship time and at 9:30 we open God's word and spend around 45 minutes in Bible study. In the class we have a great group of faithful singles who encourage and reach out to others and make them feel welcome. This class is the foundation for this age group in our Church. We have a lot of fun outside of class with outings to the valley's greatest locations. The class schedules at least one outing each month, however the class may get together more often. In the winter we have our activities indoors, in the spring we have more out door activities with picnics, in the summer there is no short supply of cookouts and putt putt golf, in the fall traveling the parkway and hiking the mountains become great opportunities, also in the fall we begin our Holiday celebrations. If you feel like you would like to be apart of this class. Come on and join in.

An interactive class where no one is “lost in the crowd”. We get to know each other well, so that we can share, pray, encourage and hold each other accountable. The goal of each Bible study is to equip us to be like Christ in very definite and practical ways. For all ages, singles and couples.

A class intent on following the leading of the Holy Spirit, each Bible study consists of prayer, praise and encouragement followed by a time of gleaning from God’s Word. For all ages, singles and couples.

Koinonia	Paul Hanson	ADC 204
Dedicated to building families upon the foundation of the Rock, Jesus Christ. The heart of the class is a strong prayer time followed by the teaching of God’s Word to strengthen each individual as well as the families represented. For all families.

Abundant Life	Jonathan Grooms	IC 103
A Biblically based interactive Bible study of both the Old and New Testaments with emphasis on prayer and meeting the needs of class members. For all ages, singles and couples.

Truth Alive	Sid Barker	ADC 105
This couples’ class studies God’s Word verse by verse and applies its truths for daily living. The class is faithful to pray for each other during both class time and throughout the week. Fellowship and prayer are two strengths in this class. There are no age limits.

Legacy Builder (Young Couples)	Daryl Rich	ADC 202
This class is designed for young couples with or without children. Special emphasis is given to praying and caring for each other’s needs in and out of the classroom. We study books of the Bible emphasizing topics relevant to young married couples as they arise

College & Career	Dennis Boswell	Worship House Conference Room

Pure Delight	Pastor Mark Ellis	ADC 202
A class for ages between 20 and 100 years old! Ps. 37:4 “Delight yourself also in the LORD, And He shall give you the desires of your heart. Ps. 40:8 “I delight to do Your will, O my God, And Your law is within my heart." Ps. 1:2 “But his delight is in the law of the LORD, And in His law he meditates day and night.
